Account Manager – Outside Sales , you’ll play a critical role in helping commercial and industrial customers leverage
natural gas and energy solutions
that support their business goals.
This role offers autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to be seen as a trusted energy advisor—not just a salesperson.
As an Account Manager, you’ll own and grow a portfolio of commercial and industrial accounts by building strong relationships and delivering value‑driven solutions.
Your key responsibilities include:
Prospect, develop, and
win new commercial and industrial customers
within your assigned territory
Manage and retain existing accounts , ensuring long‑term customer satisfaction and loyalty
Serve as the
primary point of contact
for customers regarding natural gas and energy‑related services
Collaborate closely with the
Regional Sales Manager, inside sales, operations, and marketing teams
to align on sales strategies
Identify customer needs and recommend
customized energy solutions
Build credibility as an
industry expert
by staying current on energy markets, products, competitors, and trends
Attend
trade shows, conventions, and customer events
to expand your network and pipeline
Communicate proactively with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
What Success Looks Like
Growing market share and revenue within your territory
Strong customer retention and repeat business
Trusted advisor relationships with commercial and industrial clients
Consistent collaboration with internal partners to deliver results
What We’re Looking For We’re looking for a motivated sales professional who is comfortable working independently in the field and thrives on relationship‑based selling.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
3–4 years of sales experience , preferably in outside or B2B sales
Valid
Florida driver’s license
with an acceptable driving record
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close new business
Highly organized with strong time‑management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling to
commercial or industrial customers
Knowledge of
energy, utilities, or related services
