Key Responsibilities: Positively represent the hotel by managing guest check-ins and check-outs swiftly and effectively. Ensure accurate and courteous handling of reservations. Demonstrate proficiency in the hotel's computer systems. Be available at all times to professionally address guest inquiries and concerns. Report any guest, employee, or cash discrepancies to the General Manager promptly. Supervise property staff as required. Adhere to safety and security compliance. Report to the Regional Operations Manager in the absence of the General Manager. Manage bank deposits when the General Manager is unavailable. Identify and follow up on life/safety issues, ensuring inspections are conducted. Communicate any safety or security policy violations to the General Manager promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization in all desk and office areas. Handle assigned administrative tasks efficiently. Take responsibility for ensuring the property is clean and free of debris. Skills and Experience: Prior hospitality experience preferred but not required. High school diploma or equivalent education and experience. Strong reading and interpretation skills for various reports and internal communications. Effective verbal and written communication skills for interactions with guests and team members. Basic math skills to manage room revenue, average rates, and occupancy percentages. Comprehensive knowledge of Front Office operations, service standards, guest interaction, and upselling techniques. Able to clearly express and compose thoughts for effective communication. Flexibility to work extended hours according to business needs. Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently, especially in fast-paced environments. Judgment skills for problem-solving and decision-making regarding front office operations. Mental and Physical Demands: Work indoors on various surfaces. Stand for eight (8) hour shifts. Occasional need to sit, climb, balance, or perform physical tasks. Frequent lifting or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Ability to see clearly across distances, including color and depth perception, and adjust focus. Exposure to extreme weather conditions, including cold and heat. Constant use of hands for keyboard manipulation and phone, with heavy eye contact with screens. Travel Requirements: Local travel as assigned by the General Manager, with a valid driver's license and proof of insurance required.
