Security Intelligence Analyst

Your Role Become a pivotal member of the Internal Audit Services team at Blue Shield of California, where your expertise will shine in insider threat detection and security intelligence. As a Security Intelligence Analyst, you will report directly to the Director of the program and collaborate closely with team members to design comprehensive threat intelligence collection requirements. Your efforts will enhance our intel collection capabilities and ensure accurate reporting of intelligence findings. This role focuses on both physical and electronic security threats. You will be responsible for gathering, interpreting, and disseminating intelligence data, offering valuable insights that will support critical decision-making processes. A profound understanding of security threats is crucial, complemented by strong technical, analytical, and social assessment skills, along with exceptional communication and reporting abilities. Your Knowledge and Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, International Relations, Forensics, Criminal Justice, Public Service, or a related field is required. Master's degree is preferred. A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. At least 4 years of experience in security intelligence, corporate intelligence, and/or fraud prevention in an analytical role. Familiarity with intelligence analysis tools and methodologies. Experience with counter-intelligence, intelligence requirements, products, and briefings. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Exceptional communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
