Role Overview: We are seeking talented professionals to enhance our global Android Reverse Engineering program. In this critical role, you will analyze and deconstruct Android applications and SDKs to uncover security vulnerabilities and understand their core functionalities. Position Overview: In-Depth Analysis:
Conduct thorough evaluations of Android applications and SDKs to gain insights into their code architecture, functionality, and potential security risks.
Advanced Reverse Engineering:
Employ sophisticated reverse engineering methods to extract vital information from different codebases, utilizing techniques such as decompilation, disassembly, and debugging.
Risk Assessment:
Identify risks to users and devices, including data leakage and the execution of malicious code within Android applications and SDKs.
Intelligence Gathering:
Gather, analyze, and report on threat intelligence related to Android malware, exploits, and emerging security trends.
Collaborative Efforts:
Partner with security researchers, developers, and various stakeholders to share insights, provide actionable recommendations, and contribute to the improvement of secure applications and ecosystems.
About You: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Android Development, Reverse Engineering, Pentesting, or Application Security Assessments.
Experience in analyzing, unpacking, and reverse engineering malicious applications or SDKs.
Proficiency in both Static and Dynamic Analysis Techniques.
Familiarity with reverse engineering tools such as Jadx, Ghidra, Frida, IDA Pro, and Burp for analyzing binaries and APKs.
Strong programming skills in Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, Flutter, and other mobile software languages.
Experience with ELF (Native Binaries) reverse engineering.
Capability to develop signatures (using SQL, Yara, etc.).
A solid understanding of core security areas including Android Fundamentals, techniques exploited by malicious applications, mobile app store regulations, and network traffic analysis.
Experience in researching threats through Open-Source Intelligence tools.
Familiarity with encoding, cryptography, authentication mechanisms, device rooting, and complex frameworks.
