Role Summary:

The Home Loan Processor II position is responsible for ordering, gathering, reviewing, and preparing required loan documents for all residential mortgage loans. This includes ensuring all loan conditions are fulfilled and the loan meets all credit union, regulatory, and secondary market guidelines. This position has advanced, wide-ranging job knowledge and has demonstrated the ability to handle increased responsibilities in addition to the Loan Processor I role.

What You Will Be Doing:\nReview loan application for accuracy, compliance, and completeness ensuring that all loans are prepared and processed to comply with regulatory, lending, investor and secondary market guidelines and policies.\nOrder appraisals, title commitments, tax transcripts, income verifications, government case numbers, fraud, and compliance reports.\nEffectively communicate and collaborate with borrower(s), loan officers, realtors, vendors and Operations staff providing status updates and outstanding items to facilitate an organized, accurate, and timely closing.\nReview, collect, and fulfill underwriting conditions.\nEvaluate appraisals, title policies, credit reports, and income verifications.\nExamine supporting documentation and investigate any inconsistencies to identify potential fraud or misrepresentation.\nEnsure re-disclosures are prepared and delivered to the member within regulatory guidelines based on identified change in circumstance.\nPrepare and deliver documents in an accurate and timely manner adhering to regulatory requirements.\nCoordinate loan closing, recording, and funding with escrow.\nReview signed closing documents to ensure accuracy, proper execution, and completeness.\nPrepare and disburse loan.\nPerform post-closing responsibilities including packaging and shipping investor loans.\nPrioritize and monitor daily workload to meet company timeline expectations and lock expirations.\nMeet minimum monthly goals established by management.\nMaintain a thorough working knowledge of all credit union mortgage products.\nControl risk and perform duties in a safe and sound manner maintaining awareness of policies and regulations related to duties and responsibilities.\nUnderstand and perform Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) functions applicable to job responsibilities.\nAttend credit union training sessions, conferences, or seminars as directed and approved by leadership.\nMaintain a dependable record of attendance and commitment.\nMaintain a professional, courteous, and friendly attitude and display mutual respect, trust, and dignity while acting in the best interest of the credit union. The Home Loan Processor II position is responsible for ordering, gathering, reviewing, and preparing required loan documents for all residential mortgage loans. This includes ensuring all loan conditions are fulfilled and the loan meets all credit union, regulatory, and secondary market guidelines. This position has advanced, wide-ranging job knowledge and has demonstrated the ability to handle increased responsibilities in addition to the Loan Processor I role.\nWhat You Will Be Doing

What You Will Be Doing
