About the Role

We are hiring an Sr. SQL Server DBA

Day to Day:

Design, develop, and implement complex SQL Server database solutions\nServe as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SQL Server environments\nLead and support SQL Server migrations (2016 2022)\nPerform advanced performance tuning and troubleshooting using tools such as Query Store\nManage high availability and disaster recovery solutions (Always On, replication, etc.)\nSupport business-critical applications across multiple enterprise domains\nHandle BAU support + project-based work simultaneously\nParticipate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders\nProactively monitor and maintain database stability and performance\nMust Haves:

10+ years of experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator\nStrong expertise in SQL Server (2012-2022 preferred)\nAdvanced performance tuning and troubleshooting experience\nHands-on experience with Always On and high availability solutions\nStrong knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies\nExperience using Query Store for performance optimization\nFamiliarity with SQL Server tools (SSIS, SSRS, SSDS)\nExperience supporting high-volume enterprise production environments\nStrong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders\nProven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously\nPlusses:

Experience working in Linux environments\nFamiliarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace\nExposure to additional technologies like Redis and TigerGraph\nExperience with other relational database management systems\nBackground supporting large-scale migrations and modernization efforts\nHourly Rate:

60$-65$ per hour\nThis range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
