**Reports To:** Director of Sales**Position Overview**We are seeking a detail-oriented and relationship-driven **Sales Specialist** to join our team. This role blends the responsibilities of a traditional hotel Sales Coordinator with a specialized focus on social room blocks and group bookings.The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment while managing multiple group bookings and event-related logistics.**Key Responsibilities****Sales & Client Relations*** Serve as the primary point of contact for clients booking social room blocks (weddings, family reunions, milestone celebrations, etc.)* Respond promptly to inquiries and generate leads through phone, email, and online channels* Build strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and ensure a seamless booking experience* Conduct site tours and assist in showcasing the property’s offerings**Room Block Management*** Create, manage, and monitor room blocks from contract to post-event reconciliation* Coordinate all details related to rooming lists, cut-off dates, special requests, and billing arrangements* Ensure accurate inventory management and maximize room block pick-up* Work closely with revenue management to optimize rates and availability**Event Coordination Support*** Collaborate with Sales Managers and Event/Operations teams to ensure smooth execution of group stays* Communicate guest preferences, VIP requests, and special arrangements across departments* Assist clients with ancillary needs such as welcome amenities, transportation, and group activities**Administrative & Coordination Duties*** Prepare contracts, proposals, and group resumes* Maintain accurate records in CI/TY and PMS* Track group performance and provide reporting as needed* Support the sales team with administrative tasks and also coordination efforts related to all group block turnovers form team**Qualifications*** 1–3 years of experience in hospitality sales, hotel operations, or event coordination preferred* Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously* Proficiency in hotel systems* Customer-first mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach**Key Competencies*** Relationship building & client service* Time management & multitasking* Problem-solving & adaptability* Sales acumen with attention to detail* Team collaboration**Other Duties:**Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the team member for this job.
