Sales Estimator

We are looking for someone who wants to build something — not just fill a role.
Allied Painters is expanding ourcommercial division and is looking for an experienced Commercial Estimator / Sales professional to help lead that growth.
This position is ideal for an estimator who understands commercial construction, enjoys building relationships with general contractors, and wants the opportunity to help grow a division within a stable, established company.
If you are currently estimating commercial projects but feel limited by your current company’s structure, this role offers the opportunity to have a direct impact on growth, strategy, and project selection.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Identifying and pursuing commercial painting opportunities
Reviewing plans, specifications, and bid documents
Performing takeoffs using Bluebeam or similar software
Developing accurate and competitive project estimates
Building relationships with general contractors and project managers
Managing the bid process from invitation to award
Tracking project changes and preparing change orders
Coordinating project handoffs to the production team
Helping shape the long‑term growth of the commercial division
The Ideal Candidate You likely have experience estimating commercial painting or related construction trades , and you understand how to navigate plan sets, specifications, and bid timelines.
You’re organized, detail oriented, and comfortable managing multiple bids at once. More importantly, you understand that strong estimating is only part of the job — relationships and trust win projects.
Experience We're Looking For
Experience estimating commercial construction or painting projects
Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications
Experience with Bluebeam or similar takeoff software
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
Experience working with general contractors
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
