THE WORK This is a MH‑60R Field Service Representative (FSR) position based in Rota, Spain. The FSR will provide organizational and intermediate‑level Air Vehicle or Mission Systems support on the MH‑60R platform for the Spanish Navy.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing on‑the‑job training in maintenance and operation techniques relevant to the repair of MH‑60R aircraft and equipment, including test equipment, adjustment, calibration, troubleshooting, bench‑check routine maintenance, and inspection methods.
Guiding and instructing in the use of special tools and test equipment.
Assisting in identifying areas where additional training may be required and emphasizing safety precautions.
Demonstrating the ‘best method’ for installing modifications and retrofit kits.
Rendering technical guidance to resolve difficult and unusual maintenance problems and providing an analysis of the maintenance program with beneficial recommendations.
Serving as a liaison to Sikorsky Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) for information exchange regarding aircraft maintenance, including urgent maintenance difficulties and material requirements to ensure rapid response to operator readiness.
Submitting written reports to Sikorsky RMS management weekly and monthly in summary format, on the technical activity experienced at customer locations.
Setting up a new support office at a customer site and establishing a relationship with the new customer.
Maintaining full awareness of local professional rules and customs associated with this international assignment.
Reviewing all technical reports for accuracy and submitting them to program and management.
Ensuring site expenses are submitted on time, accurately and completely.
Providing administrative training and mentoring to assigned personnel.
Candidate qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years experience in Air Vehicle or Mission Systems maintenance of Sikorsky MH‑60R aircraft.
US citizenship is required.
Willingness to provide on‑call support 24/7.
Capability to obtain/maintain a valid U.S. passport.
Possession of a Secret‑level security clearance.
Willingness to travel in support of customer requirements.
