leading AmLaw firm
seeking an
Intellectual Property Associate
to join its
IP practice
in
Boston, Denver, New York, San Francisco, Palo Alto, or Washington, DC
. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated
patent prosecution and intellectual property litigation matters
involving cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and prosecute
patent applications before the USPTO
Assist clients with
IP portfolio strategy and development
Conduct
pre-litigation diligence and legal research
for IP disputes
Draft
pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related filings
Support
expert witness preparation and discovery efforts
Participate in
post-grant proceedings , including inter partes reviews and post-grant reviews (preferred)
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school
with strong academic credentials
2–4 years of experience in patent prosecution and IP litigation
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
(advanced degree or industry experience preferred)
Admission to practice before the USPTO
Licensed and in good standing in the
state where the position is based
Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills
Ability to work both
independently and collaboratively
within a team environment
