Job Description The Registered Dietitian is responsible for assessing and supervising the nutritional needs of patients, providing age- and developmentally appropriate diet planning and education, and ensuring that quality nutritional care is provided to all patients in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Lakeside Behavioral Health and the American Dietetics Association.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
Prefer one year of clinical dietitian experience in a health care environment; prior work with a mental health population strongly desired.
Licensure/Certification:
Licensed by the Tennessee Department of Health as a Registered Dietitian.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of age-appropriate nutritional assessments and screenings, nutritional counseling and education, dietary planning, and food and drug interactions.
