50-mile radius of our Pittsburgh, Buffalo, or Camp Hill locations

to work in the office on

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays . Employees located outside this radius will work remotely. The Cybersecurity Solutions Architect will play a crucial role in shaping a security architecture that manages sensitive information efficiently while ensuring compliance with established enterprise security controls. You will be responsible for conducting gap analyses to identify shortcomings in existing security measures and provide actionable recommendations for improvements. Moreover, you will collaborate with clients to design, implement, and deploy robust technical security controls, using existing security services to address complex challenges and foster new business initiatives. This role will encompass various aspects of network security, operating system security, data protection, application security, mobile computing security, and managing partner/vendor access control. Essential Responsibilities Drive team success by delivering innovative security solutions, mentoring junior team members, and promoting efficient processes.

Evaluate security requirements through thorough business assessments, system security analyses, and risk evaluations.

Design comprehensive security systems based on technology assessments.

Implement security measures by selecting strategies, overseeing equipment setups, and formulating actionable plans.

Enhance the department's reputation by promptly addressing new requests and exploring additional avenues for added value.

Provide leadership and mentorship in security architecture to peers, management, and business stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with applicable standards and processes.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Security, or Engineering, or equivalent experience as determined by the company. Preferred Education Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. Experience Minimum: 5 - 7 years of experience in architecting security solutions. 5 - 7 years in Information Security. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with business partners. Preferred: 7 - 10 years of experience in solution architecture. Skills Excellent business communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong problem-solving attitude. Thorough understanding of TCP/IP, application protocols (SNMP, SMTP, DNS, DHCP), and VPNs. Awareness of current trends and concepts in information technology and security industries. Ability to analyze technical systems and provide practical recommendations. In-depth knowledge of application security vulnerabilities and effective countermeasures. Experience with security management frameworks such as HITRUST, ISO 27001, and ITIL. Familiarity with encryption technologies and standard security protocols. Capability to recommend comprehensive solutions for enterprise security controls, including networks, firewalls, data security, and more. Pay Range:
