Overview JOB TITLE: Business Solutions Analyst CAYUSE COMPANY: Cayuse Civil Services, LLC EMPLOYEE TYPE: Full-Time Salary Exempt TRAVEL: No RELOCATION: No Employment in this role is conditional upon successful execution of the contract by the client. The Work The Business Solutions Analyst is integral in bridging the gap between business stakeholders, project teams, and technical developers. This role ensures that business needs are effectively captured, analyzed, and transformed into actionable requirements, contributing to the development of solutions that fulfill organizational objectives and provide significant value to stakeholders. Responsibilities Utilize Agile methodologies to analyze and document business functions and requirements.

Engage with management and personnel to define and document business needs, objectives, operational procedures, and requirements.

Analyze the alignment between business functions and technology.

Facilitate business and technical analysis to support project design and implementation for application programming teams.

Identify and document relevant business processes from legacy application data systems.

Assist in managing and prioritizing the product backlog.

Create user stories based on requirements and document technical specifications as necessary.

Participate in team meetings and design sessions as per Scrum Ceremonies.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Here's What You Need The qualifications and skills below outline the expectations for this position. However, given the evolving nature of the contract and the specifics of the task order yet to be finalized, this list should be viewed as a general guideline. Additional qualifications or certifications may be required based on the client's specifications after task order award. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility and a readiness to adapt to new responsibilities as defined by the client. Three (3) years of experience in Business Analysis, including the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business functions and processes.

Two (2) years of experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), including writing user stories and maintaining a well-ordered product backlog.

Experience in creating documentation for complex project requirements.

Must be able to pass a background check, with additional checks as required by client projects during employment.

Minimum Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Expertise in requirements gathering and documentation.

Understanding of business process improvement and system design.

Demonstrated capability to respond promptly to customer needs.

Proficiency in Microsoft and Adobe software, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Acrobat.

Self-motivated with a proven ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Strong relationship-building skills, both individually and in team settings.

A self-starter who can work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Government IT modernization projects.

Experience in documenting business processes found in legacy application data systems.

Certifications in Business Analysis such as PMI-PBA or CBAP.

Quality assurance testing experience of application software.

Background in creating operating procedures, user guides, and training materials.

Familiarity with wireframe/mockup tools like Figma.
