Job Summary/Description:
FOX5 (KVVU) in Las Vegas is looking for a News & Community Engagement Specialist to help grow viewership and strengthen community connection through compelling promotion of our FOX5 News brand and station-led community initiatives. This role will create, coordinate, and distribute on-air and digital promotional messaging, collaborate closely with the newsroom and promotions team, and support the execution of community partnerships and events.
Promote FOX5 News by writing, producing, and coordinating promotional content that drives tune-in and brand affinity. Collaborate with News leadership to identify promotable stories and deliver timely messaging. Support station community outreach through campaigns.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Excellent video editing skills; strong shooting and lighting skills - Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop preferred) - Short-form and long-form storytelling experience - Ability to develop and pitch marketing campaign ideas - Strong broadcast and AP-style writing skills - Quick learner who can adapt to a breaking-news-driven environment
