The Role: The Piping Foreman is responsible for ensuring a quality install for our customers while promoting safety. You will serve as an essential part of successful mechanical piping system installs on our commercial construction projects and provide leadership and support on our sites. Job sites will vary among commercial projects throughout the area, primarily K-12, University, and Healthcare buildings.
What You'll Do:
Read and interpret coordinated construction drawings for all trades
Complete Bill of Materials based on the drawings and blueprints
Fabricate and install all types of pipe including carbon steel, copper, etc.
Install piping equipment including boilers, chillers, pumps, etc.
Lead and train all field staff
Maintain exceptional customer relational skills
Communicate effectively, both written and oral
Hold a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
You Bring:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to operate equipment as needed on site
Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office, Internet, Email
Understanding of technology usage – iPad, iPhone, applications, etc.
Knowledge of steam systems
Journeyman or Master Card preferred
