Marketing Coordinator
This is a 10-week, full-time (40 hours/week), on-site contract role located in Santa Monica, CA.
Summary This role supports the Urban Marketing team in executing marketing initiatives for artist releases. The Marketing Coordinator assists with campaign coordination, administrative support, and asset management to ensure marketing projects run smoothly and on schedule.
Our Ideal Candidate
1-3 years of experience in office administration or marketing support, preferably within the music or entertainment industry
Passion for music marketing with a strong foundation in organization and project coordination
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with strong administrative and documentation skills
Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere) and marketing asset management
Skilled in collaborating with cross‑functional teams including marketing managers, creative teams, and external vendors
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail
Highly organized with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality in a fast‑paced environment
Job Description In this role, you will support marketing managers in executing campaign strategies for artist releases.
You’ll partner with internal marketing teams and vendors to coordinate marketing materials, track campaign assets, and ensure timely delivery of promotional content. This includes submitting and monitoring creative requests for marketing assets such as invitations, posters, and video content.
You will also maintain key project documentation including one‑sheets, timelines, and quote sheets, collect and organize artist assets such as photos, logos, and biographies, coordinate shipping of promotional materials, and assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and supporting overall marketing operations.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Background in marketing, communications, entertainment, or music industry operations
Experience supporting marketing campaigns or administrative functions in fast‑paced environments preferred
Additional Requirements
This opportunity is located in Santa Monica, CA and requires on‑site work.
The pay for this W‑2 position ranges from $37.00 - $45.00 per hour.
This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
