The SFBU Student Ambassador Program is a prestigious leadership opportunity for high-achieving students to act as official representatives of the University. Ambassadors serve as the primary link between the university and its most important stakeholders, including prospective students, alumni, donors, and industry leaders. This is more than a campus job—it is an executive-track professional development program designed to build your network, your wardrobe, and your resume. This position is classified as non-exempt and part-time, requiring a commitment of 15–20 hours per week. This is a one-year term appointment and requires a consistent on-site presence. What You Will Do

Lead with Presence:

Represent SFBU at high-profile recruitment events, alumni gatherings, and advancement activities. Connect the Community:

Conduct professional campus tours and participate in small-group strategy sessions with university leadership. Professional Training:

Complete mandatory modules in professional etiquette and university operations. Execute the Term:

Serve a full one-year commitment starting in August, maintaining a high level of reliability and discretion. Selected Ambassadors receive access to "Gold Standard" professional resources: Professional Attire Package:

Receive one custom-tailored business suit and official SFBU ambassador apparel to ensure you look the part of a professional leader. Executive Networking:

Gain exclusive invitations to board meetings, alumni receptions, and donor events. Rub elbows with industry leaders and SFBU decision-makers. Career Accelerator:

Specialized training in public speaking and executive communication, plus professional headshots and 1-on-1 LinkedIn/Resume coaching. Recognition & Distinction:

Graduation cords/notations, formal designation as an SFBU Ambassador, and a Letter of Leadership Endorsement from university leadership upon successful completion. Eligibility Requirements

Selection is highly competitive. Applicants must meet the following criteria: Enrollment:

Currently enrolled full-time at SFBU. Experience:

Completed at least two semesters at SFBU (first-year students are still eligible to apply if they meet other criteria). Commitment:

Must have a minimum of two semesters remaining prior to graduation. Academic Standing:

Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher and be in good disciplinary standing. Compensation

Approx. $20/hr (est. 15–20 hours/month) + Professional Attire Package Selection & Evaluation

Please note that meeting minimum qualifications does not guarantee acceptance. We are looking for students who demonstrate executive presence, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills. Ambassadors are evaluated at the end of their term based on participation and conduct. Continuation in the program is contingent upon passing all courses and maintaining professional standards.
