Job Description TheUniversity at Albany's Office of Communications and Marketing (OCM) is seekinga MarketingCoordinatorto be part of the marketing team.This position will report to the Associate Director of Marketing toassistwith the management of UAlbany'svariousmarketing and advertising campaigns andrelatedoperations.TheMarketingCoordinator shouldhaveknowledgeof and experience inmarketing campaign development and coordination,projectmanagement, and the desire to expandthat knowledge into the building ofadvertisingcampaignson behalf of a major institution,as well asgrowing theirknowledge ofmarketing, marketing campaigns, and analytics
Primary Responsibilities
Assistwith the development and project management of OCM's advertising and marketing campaigns, production of creative deliverables to meet the needs of the campaigns and the trafficking of those deliverables to outside agencies as well as target audiences
Coordinate activities involved in active marketing projects, helping to keep the marketing team and its campus partners focused and up to date on project timelines
Maintain centralized tracking of advertising activity and marketing proposals, monitoring status, timelines, and approvals to support efficient execution and reporting.
Assistwith campaign research and execution for minor and small marketing initiatives, coordinating messaging and placementacross free, paid, and social platforms.
Manage trafficking and coordination of the licensing platform and logo files, working in partnership with the Art Director to ensuretimely,accurateuse of approved assets.
Assistwith promotional and public-facing eventsAssistwith continuously improvingthe office'smarketingoperations bycapturing and analyzing theappropriatemetrics,insightsand best practices
Serve as social media backupin the event ofsocial media teammemberabsences
Other reasonable duties as assigned

Job Requirements
Working knowledge of traditional and digital marketing and understanding of major marketing channels(online, print, out-of-home, television, streaming, etc.)
Excellentwriting,project managementpresentationand communication skills
Detail orientedwithexcellentmultitasking and organizational ability

Must have the ability to reliably travel to and from assigned site visit locations

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from a college or University accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
Experience in a marketing/communications role or similar role in business or nonprofit organizations. This experience may include an internship or experiential learning background in communications or marketing.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing social media accounts and developing social media content for a large organization
Full time experience in a similarmarketing/communicationsfunction in business
Experience in Adobe CreativeSuite Experiencewithprojectmanagement software
Additional Information Typical office environment
Professional Rank and Salary Range Community Relations Assistant, SL1,$51,261 - $55,000
