We are looking for a Call Center Service Advisor who will partner with our team. The role is located at our Kansas City, MO or Fort Worth, TX location. You will be responsible for providing quality products to our customers in a timely, cost-efficient manner.\nThe Call Center Service Advisor will be part of the initial contact team for customers with technical and product issues as it relates to vocational trucks (chassis, lift, digger, crane, etc.). This role will be responsible for receiving inbound phone calls from customers, assisting in diagnosing issues over the phone, and working with the customer on a plan to fix the issue(s). This individual must have exceptional customer service aptitude and strong communication skills.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nTimely answers inbound e-mails and phone calls related to service issues.\nIdentifies problems and services by listening to customer's description of symptoms, clarifying description of problems.\nPrepares repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into service database system.\nCommunicate with parts department to determine and locate part numbers for units.\nMaintains primary communication channel with customer by providing timeline estimates, answering questions and concerns, arranging towing and temporary transportation, and communicating status updates to customer.\nExpectation to continually learn about products we carry. Training opportunities will be provided, but separate research and review may be required.\nProcess invoices and payments for service repairs.\nVerifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers, explaining provisions.\nContact fleet management companies that require authorization to start work or require estimates before authorizing repairs to begin.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nKnowledge of aerial vehicles, equipment, and heavy & light duty trucks\nPrevious experience in a similar role\nExtremely detail oriented and accurate\nGeneral mechanical aptitude and experience with parts required. Summary\nCustom Truck One Source has an opening for a sales professional with a background in construction vehicles, equipment, and heavy & light duty trucks. The position will report to the Regional Sales Manager. The candidate will be responsible for targeting new prospects, cold calling, conducting needs analysis, quoting, closing, delivery of trucks and equipment, and continuing relations with existing clients as well as establishing new relationships. A major aspect of this role will be increasing sales and accomplishing the sales goals set for them by the Regional Sales Manager.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Primary focus new and used equipment sales which includes tools and equipment along with promoting our rental product line.

Marketing analysis and segmentation to define key prospects, prospecting, cold calling, identifying customer needs, quoting, closing new business, and service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.

Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.

Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses all within Salesforce.

Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

Recommends changes in products by evaluating results & competitive developments.

Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Candidate must reside in Louisiana, preferably in or around Alexandria.

Required Skills And Qualifications

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screen.

Must have previous 3 to 5 years of outside sales experience in vocational equipment and or truck sales.

Can demonstrate a track record of sales achievement and new business development in vocational vehicle sales or leasing.

Professional and technical knowledge of aerial vehicles, equipment and heavy & light duty trucks is desired.

Excellent communication and managerial skills and proficient computer skills.

Professional personal appearance.

Valid driver's license.
