Creative, Ambitious, Early Career Marketing Specialist
We are looking for a go-getter who wants to become a marketing powerhouse for our company. If hired, you will become part of an amazing team that will provide an opportunity for you to grow and learn as you work closely with an expert fractional Chief Marketing Officer. Starting at $24 per hour, carrying great benefits and bi-yearly bonuses; the ideal candidate will be responsible for content creation, coordinating events, and supporting day-to-day marketing activities that promote the client brand and align with sales efforts. Key Responsibilities: Create and manage marketing content across platforms, including company website maintenance, email campaigns, newsletters, and other marketing channels. Plan, create, and manage traditional and digital advertising campaigns, including Google Ads. Research trade publications and digital platforms for advertising opportunities. Maintain consistent branding and messaging across all marketing platforms. Handle email correspondence, answer calls, and perform general administrative tasks as needed. Organize and manage tradeshow events, including logistics, setup, and execution. Work with the employee engagement committee to ensure internal communications are on brand and shared through the appropriate channels. Support lead generation efforts and assist in optimizing the customer journey for potential customers. Capture high-quality images during company events that reflect the company's brand and messaging; edit and prepare photos for marketing use. Create graphics for digital and print collateral as needed. Collaborate with sales teams to align marketing strategies and provide supporting resources, including leading collaborative meetings. Manage timelines and organization for marketing projects to ensure campaigns, content, and initiatives are executed effectively. Support marketing activities while maintaining a budget-conscious approach, tracking expenses and ensuring marketing projects are executed within approved budgets. Continuously develop marketing knowledge and skills while taking on increasing ownership of marketing initiatives and responsibilities over time. Education: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Qualifications: Early career marketing professional or recent graduate with a strong interest in developing marketing skills and gaining hands-on experience across multiple marketing platforms. Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics and Google Ads. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into clear marketing content. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook for communication and reporting. Proven ability to solve problems effectively by evaluating challenges, thinking critically, and developing practical solutions that support team and organizational goals. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with internal teams. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Basic experience creating content for digital platforms. Photography and visual content creation skills.
