About the Role
Seeking a
Fair Lending Banking Specialist
to lead and manage the organizations Fair Lending Compliance Program. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the bank maintains a strong fair lending risk profile while meeting all regulatory requirements. The role will partner closely with senior leadership and internal stakeholders to monitor fair lending risk, implement compliance programs, and ensure the organization remains examination ready. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee the banks
Fair Lending Compliance Program
to ensure regulatory compliance. Identify, monitor, and mitigate
fair lending risks
across lending, pricing, underwriting, and marketing practices. Conduct
fair lending reviews , including comparative file reviews, redlining analysis, and marketing reviews. Develop and implement
risk reporting tools and key risk indicators . Prepare
reports and presentations for senior leadership and the Board of Directors . Conduct
annual fair lending risk assessments
and develop the annual monitoring plan. Coordinate
fair lending training programs
for employees, management, and board members. Assist with
regulatory exams and audits , including preparation and remediation efforts. Review lending policies, procedures, and new products to identify potential fair lending concerns. Partner with compliance and risk teams to continuously improve internal processes and controls. Qualifications Bachelors degree required. 5+ years of financial institution compliance experience , including Fair Lending. Strong knowledge of
Fair Lending regulations and regulatory examination processes . Experience performing
fair lending risk assessments, redlining analysis, and comparative file reviews . Ability to analyze data and produce clear compliance reports for leadership. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently. Work Schedule Monday Friday Standard business hours Fully
