Cloud Architect
We are seeking a Cloud Architect to create solutions aligned with our organization's cloud strategy. This role involves designing and implementing new software solutions for cloud enablement, as well as maintaining and enhancing existing software. The successful candidate will work across technology teams to ensure code adheres to standards for accessibility, security, and performance, while actively participating in architecture reviews and design meetings. Key Responsibilities
Work across technology to create solutions aligned with the organization's cloud strategy. Perform product design activities and architect new software solutions. Design and implement new software solutions as part of the cloud enablement strategy. Maintain and enhance existing software, ensuring adherence to strict standards. Write and conduct unit and integration tests. Function and communicate within a development team including developers, quality assurance, and project management. Actively participate in requirements, architecture reviews, and design meetings. Implement a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week on-site. Required Qualifications
A minimum of 7 years of experience in Information Technology, with at least 5 years in Cloud Engineering (Azure/AWS/GCP). Experience writing infrastructure as code using Terraform (including Terraform Enterprise, Private Module Registry, Sentinel). Experience building and working with public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Deep knowledge of web protocols, multiple operating systems, hypervisors, and distributed systems architecture. Deep knowledge of Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) or similar frameworks. Experience with cloud security (e.g., Azure Policy, Azure Defender for Cloud, Azure Sentinel). Hands-on experience with CI/CD toolchains such as Maven/Jenkins. Proficiency in general programming languages such as Java or Python. Experience with configuration management and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, CloudFormation, Salt). Experience with identity management frameworks and tools. Experience in Linux/UNIX system administration. Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift). Preferred Qualifications
Cloud provider certification (e.g., Azure certification AZ-900). Experience with the Go programming language. Familiarity with Agile development practices and test-driven development. Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $65.00 to $70.24 per hour.
