Social Media Manager

nimble, Costa Mesa, CA, United States

Nimble is a Certified B Corp and Climate Neutral Certified consumer tech brand in coastal Orange County. We’re changing how people think about the technology they love—and the footprint it leaves behind. Our team is led by industry veterans who’ve built some of the biggest names in our category, and we’re looking for someone who can make our social channels as purposeful as our products.

This isn’t a “schedule posts and track likes” role. You’ll be the creative engine behind Nimble’s social presence—turning followers into a real community of people who care about better tech and a healthier planet.

WHAT YOU'LL DO Own Our Brand Voice Define and evolve Nimble’s “social soul.” You’ll craft a voice that’s warm, witty, informed, and unmistakably human—consistent across every platform yet adapted to each audience.

Build a Thriving Community Go beyond monitoring. Lead the comments section, jump into trending conversations, and foster a space where fans genuinely connect—with us and with each other.

Drive Organic Growth Develop data-backed strategies to expand reach without relying on paid spend. Think: viral loops, community-led challenges, and platform-native tactics that earn attention.

Create Scroll-Stopping Content Shoot and edit short-form video (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) that prioritizes storytelling, education, and entertainment over hard selling. You’ll own production end-to-end.

Spark Strategic Conversations Identify and engage key opinion leaders, complementary brands, and superfans to embed Nimble into the broader cultural conversation around sustainability and tech.

Fuel Social Commerce Partner with our Commerce and Growth teams to support TikTok Shop and Meta storefronts with the organic buzz, trust, and community-led content that drives high-velocity sales.

Be the Community’s Advocate Translate community feedback, sentiment, and “asks” into actionable insights for the product and marketing teams—you’re the bridge between our audience and our roadmap.

Measure What Matters Establish and own KPIs beyond revenue: engagement rate, community sentiment, share of voice, organic growth velocity, and UGC volume.

Hands-on proficiency with mobile-first content tools (CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar) and an eye for thumb-stopping hooks and aesthetic consistency
