
Interim Director of Camp Keshet

Temple Beth Am is seeking a dynamic, organized, and creative professional to serve our interim director of Camp Keshet at Temple Beth Am for summer 2026. This multifaceted role offers the opportunity to lead a core piece of how our community impacts the lives of children, teens, and families. Key Responsibilities
Pre-Camp Planning: Continue to develop all aspects of camp programming, including daily/weekly schedules, field trips, and specialist programming. Ensure camper registration, staff hiring, financial aid, and budget planning are on track and aligned with institutional best practices.
Daily Camp Logistics: Oversee all aspects of camp operations during the summer, including program supervision, weekly schedule management, staff supervision, parent communications, and camper care.
Camp Programming: Manage all aspects of camp programming during the summer, including weekly field trips and bus coordination, specialist programming, group time activities, all-camp programming, and all other elements of the daily camp experience.
Staff Supervision & Training: Finalize staff hiring, including counselors and camp leadership. Train and supervise staff, with an emphasis on camper safety, program development, and team building.
Start date flexible depending on availability, ideally starting before the end of March. Expectations are that the role will be 10 hours a week through the end of May, with full time work beginning in June and continuing through the second week of August to conclude the summer. Work will take place on-site.
Compensation $22,500-30,00
