Amazon is looking for a customer‑obsessed, data‑driven Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join its Journey Orchestration team. The role focuses on leveraging Amazon’s owned channels—such as amazon.jobs and hiring.amazon.com—to deliver personalized, automated candidate experiences at a global scale.

In this position you will be responsible for the tactical implementation and execution of global email, SMS, and push notification campaigns. You will deliver exceptional candidate experiences through automated journeys and ad‑hoc initiatives that attract, engage, and convert high‑quality talent efficiently and at scale.

Key job responsibilities

Build and code responsive HTML email templates that render correctly across multiple email clients and devices.

Implement data‑driven, multi‑channel lifecycle campaigns—including audience segmentation, template coding, campaign configuration, QA, launch, and ongoing reporting—and manage campaigns within CRMs and marketing automation platforms.

Configure audience segments and automation workflows based on defined strategies.

Conduct thorough QA testing of email templates across devices and email clients.

Launch A/B tests to continually improve performance through optimized messaging and targeting.

Monitor campaign performance and report on key metrics such as CTR, open rates, and conversion rates using Adobe Analytics and platform‑level data.

Troubleshoot technical issues with email rendering, tracking, and automation workflows.

Maintain email template libraries and ensure brand consistency across all communications.

Implement country‑specific campaign variations to meet localized needs.

Manage end‑to‑end campaign execution timelines and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.

Stay current on email coding best practices, deliverability standards, and industry trends.

A day in the life You will use data and best practices to create and implement email, SMS, and push notification strategies that enhance the job seeker experience and deliver results. You will bring your proven creative, analytical, and strategic capabilities to optimize compelling campaigns. You think strategically and execute flawlessly, understanding data workflows, customer segmentation, automation, personalization, and testing best practices.

About the team The Journey Orchestration team is responsible for owned channel strategy—including web, app, email, SMS, and SEO—within Amazon’s Attraction, Influence, and Marketing (AIM) organization. The team helps hire hundreds of thousands of Amazonians each year by delivering exceptional, multi‑channel candidate experiences that engage job seekers with maximum efficiency and precision.

Basic Qualifications

4+ years of professional non‑internship marketing experience.

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.

Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).

Experience building, executing, and scaling cross‑functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion.

Experience managing and measuring marketing performance across various channels.

Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting, and demand generation.

Bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.

Preferred Qualities

Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs.

Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives.

The base salary range for this position is $109,100.00 – $160,000.00 USD annually for locations in Arlington, VA and Seattle, WA. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
