What You Will Be Doing\nAs a Senior Tax Manager/Director, you will play a key leadership role overseeing tax engagements. You'll provide strategic direction, mentor staff, deepen client relationships, and drive firm growth while maintaining exceptional service quality and operational excellence.

In this role, you will:

1. Lead Strategically

Identify important issues, develop practical solutions, and make sound, data-driven decisions that align with firm policy and objectives.

Bring innovative ideas to the firm and oversee implementation plans that improve efficiency and service delivery.

2. Manage Client Relationships

Take full ownership of assigned client groups and act as a trusted advisor.

Maintain regular client communication, ensuring high-quality service and satisfaction.

Anticipate client needs and deliver timely, value-added insights.

3. Develop and Mentor Staff

Supervise and develop Staff and Senior Accountants, fostering growth through delegation, coaching, and feedback.

Lead internal training sessions and promote continuing education and professional advancement.

4. Drive Business Development

Cultivate new client relationships and expand existing ones through consistent networking and community engagement.

Represent the firm by maintaining board positions and participating in professional and local organizations.

Create and present proposals to clients and prospective clients to drive firm growth.

5. Tax Responsibilities

Maintain thorough knowledge of client businesses and industries served.

Perform complex tax research and prepare written analyses or position papers for clients and internal training.

Consult with clients on intricate tax issues and support staff in developing technical expertise.

Who You Are

You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting.

You have 8+ years of experience in public accounting (10+ years for Director-level roles).

You are a licensed CPA.

You have advanced technical knowledge, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex engagements.

You are proactive and committed to mentoring and developing others.

You have strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a track record of delivering client satisfaction.
