Summary The Event Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of events across multiple taproom locations. This role ensures exceptional customer experience, drives revenue, and maintains alignment with the brand and operational goals of Warped Wing Brewing Co. The Event Manager collaborates closely with the taproom teams, kitchen, and marketing to deliver seamless and memorable events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Event Sales & Planning
Serve as the primary point of contact for all private event inquiries, responding promptly and professionally to clients.
Conduct site visits and consultations with potential clients to showcase event spaces.
Develop and present proposals, event packages, and contracts tailored to client needs while adhering to company policies.
Manage event booking schedules across multiple taproom locations, ensuring optimal space utilization and revenue generation.
Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to develop event menus, beverage packages, and staffing needs.
Event Execution
Oversee all aspects of event operations, ensuring events are executed on time and within budget.
Collaborate with taproom staff to ensure spaces are clean, set up, and prepared per event specifications.
Act as the on-site event supervisor, ensuring smooth execution and resolving any issues that arise.
Provide post-event follow-ups, collecting feedback to continually improve services.
Team Collaboration & Training
Train and mentor taproom staff in event-specific operations, including setup, service, and breakdown procedures.
Work closely with managers and kitchen staff to coordinate schedules and labor costs for events.
Communicate effectively with FOH and BOH teams to ensure consistency in service standards.
Administrative Responsibilities
Maintain detailed records of event bookings, payments, and client communications.
Track revenue and expenses associated with events and provide regular reports to management.
Ensure compliance with all local regulations, including health, safety, and alcohol service guidelines.
Marketing & Promotion
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote event spaces and services, including through social media, email campaigns, and partnerships.
Create and update event promotional materials, such as brochures and web content.
Qualifications Experience
Minimum of 3 years in event management, preferably in hospitality, food and beverage, or a similar industry.
Skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning and alcohol service.
Personal Attributes
Positive attitude with a customer-focused mindset.
Ability to problem-solve under pressure.
Collaborative team player.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing multiple locations or venues.
Familiarity with beer, brewing, or craft beverage industries.
