About the Role

What You’ll Do as Director of Sales

  • Strategic Leadership – Prepare, develop, and execute strategic business plans to support the growth of Prominence Hospitality Group.
  • Sales & Negotiation – Showcase your sales and negotiating skills to drive new business, secure partnerships, and influence potential buyers.
  • Team Development – Train, coach, and mentor your team to ensure a challenging and rewarding environment that fosters full career development and personal growth.
  • Collaboration – Partner with the General Manager to determine appropriate sales strategies across all market segments to maximize hotel revenues.
  • Market Analysis – Evaluate market and sales trends to coordinate activities that increase revenue and market share through added business volume and increased rates.
  • Positive Energy – Be a team player who works hard and has fun in a supportive, inclusive environment!

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience – Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel, and Restaurant Management, or a combination of education and 3+ years of experience in hotel sales and marketing.

Required Skills

  • Communication Skills – Present with a high level of experience and professionalism, with solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills – Strong organizational and presentation skills with the ability to negotiate, sell, and influence effectively.
  • Emotional Intelligence – Demonstrated emotional EQ, with the ability to remain comfortable and effective in high-pressure, goal-oriented situations.

Pay range and compensation package

Compensation: $60,000 to $70,000 per year
