Regional Director of Sales – Ascent Hospitality

Position Purpose: The Regional Director of Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth and maximizing sales performance across multiple hotel properties within a designated region. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, leading sales teams, and fostering relationships with key clients and partners.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability across all hotel properties.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales teams at each property to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, and local businesses to drive group and transient bookings.
  • Collaborate with marketing and revenue management teams to create compelling promotional campaigns and packages.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions to enhance team performance and product knowledge.
  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics, providing reports and insights to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the hotel brand and drive new business.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and company policies in all sales activities.

Qualification Standards:

  • Bachelor degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required; a Masters degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the hospitality sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a multi-property environment.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior in the hospitality industry.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to travel frequently to various hotel properties for site visits, client meetings, and industry events.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while reviewing reports and conducting meetings.
