About The Role

The Director of Commercial Excellence reports to the President of Global Bracing and is responsible for enabling revenue growth, market share expansion, and customer engagement through strong commercial planning, cross-functional leadership, and operational commercial excellence.

In close collaboration with Global Bracing Sales, Marketing leadership, and key cross-functional teams, this role designs, implements, and continuously improves the commercial processes, tools, and systems that support our customers and commercial teams globally. The Director of Commercial Excellence provides practical, efficient and action-oriented guidance to improve sales effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and improve operational efficiency, ensuring successful execution of the Global Bracing business strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Define, standardize, and improve Global Bracing commercial processes and capabilities, including: Customer acquisition and account management, Sales analytics & commercial intelligence, Sales compensation design & management, CRM strategy, governance, and management, Sales force design, onboarding, and training, Sales manager effectiveness, Go-to-market planning and execution, Pricing governance
  • Ensure consistent and effective implementation of Bracing processes across North America, Europe and APAC.
  • Identify, prioritize and drive key commercial enablement and excellence initiatives to improve Global Bracing commercial effectiveness and sales productivity.
  • Establish KPIs and performance management processes, deliver reliable and timely insights, assess regional sales effectiveness and productivity, and develop recommendations for improvement through data analytics.
  • Oversee governance and management of commercial data used for reporting and sales control, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Partner with global teams to develop frameworks, guiding principles, analytics, and reporting systems to enhance the sales process and pipeline management, maximizing the value and use of CRM systems.
  • Contribute to Global Bracing Sales and Marketing strategic decision‑making, playing a critical role in designing, monitoring, and optimizing commercial approaches and results.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement across the organization

Supervision

  • Develops and executes plans and strategic direction that influences outcomes across the function and broader organization.
  • Provides strategic, non-managerial direction or guidance to peers and cross-functional partners

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred, ideally with a focus in Strategy, Marketing, or Finance
  • 7-10 plus years of successful commercial experience, including Sales and Marketing Leadership or
  • 7 plus years of progressively responsible experience in Consulting, Project Management or Marketing with the following specific experience: Line responsibility and/or project experience in the Commercial area (country/brand/functional strategies, execution/implementation of efficiency programs, change management, business process re‑engineering).
  • Medical Device industry experience preferred
