The Role
At Ria, we’re on a mission to make money transfer accessible, fast, and reliable for communities around the world. With millions of customers and thousands of partners, we connect with families, friends, and businesses every day. We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Partnerships Director to join our Strategic Partnerships team and drive growth for our large retail business in the money transfer space.
- You will hunt and lead business development efforts to win new accounts.
- Manage important strategic accounts to grow the overall business.
- Interface with external clients as well as prospects.
- Lead large-scale projects to launch Ria Money Transfer with national and regional chains.
- Leading Quarterly Business Reviews with strategic partners.
- Develop compelling sales presentations and value propositions for prospects.
- Pivot with all internal organizations to address any issues that arise.
Qualifications
- Money Transfer industry experience.
- Must have 5+ years of experience in sales or account management and project management with national and regional chains.
- Professional demeanor; business maturity; self-starter.
- Sound business judgment.
- Some knowledge of systems would be helpful when speaking with prospects about IT integration.
- Strong interpersonal, persuasive, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel.
