Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in product management.
- 5 years of experience with AI/ML applications, cloud-native architectures, or big data platforms and their business applications.
- 5 years of experience managing a product management team.
Preferred qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or MBA.
- Expertise in leading teams towards business goals.
- Ability to balance technical and business issues.
- Effective leadership skills, and ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with both technical and business experts.

We are now forming the Workspace Universal Context Product Management team to unify our strategy for context, search, grounding, and user intent. As the Director of Product for Workspace Search, you will lead this initiative, driving product strategy and inspiring a talented team to accelerate AI capabilities across Workspace. You will build a global product team, working with engineering, design, and marketing to define strategy and create cross-Workspace AI Search experiences. A key part of the role is to reimagine Search with AI while cultivating a collaborative team environment. You will also engage with customers and internal stakeholders to translate user needs into technical designs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $282,000-$392,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Define the product vision and strategy for cross-Workspace AI-first search experiences, and design and lead a multi-year roadmap. Analyze industry trends to drive innovation, and deliver forward-thinking approaches to long-term opportunities.
- Own the cross-functional product development process from ideation to launch. Manage leadership review forums and track key company-level deliverables. Foster a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making.
- Engage regularly with leaders as a trusted advisor to understand their strategies and priorities to inform the product roadmap. Partner closely with engineering, UX, and other internal teams to drive product success. Represent the customer, identifying opportunities for reuse, standardization, and innovation.
- Attract, develop, and retain a high-performing team of product managers. Elevate the capabilities of teams within and around your area.
