We are a hyper-growth tech startup on a mission to revolutionise student rental.

And when we say hyper-growth, we mean we have gone from $0 to $10M ARR in just the past 18 months. We just recently raised a $10M Series A and we are putting this investment to work to fuel our growth in the US + Canada college markets.

As Head of Brand Partnerships , you’ll own one of the most strategic growth levers at Housr: building a scalable, high-impact brand partnership engine that makes our platform indispensable to students, properties, and university partners.

This is a senior, hands‑on role where you’ll set the strategy, build the process, lead execution, and still close meaningful deals yourself – all while being accountable for hitting brand partner targets at every new university launch.

This role has it all

  • You’ll define and own Housr’s brand partnership strategy across North America – national brands and local market activations.
  • You’ll build the playbook, process, and targets for how we secure partners as we launch new campuses.
  • You’ll lead and coach an Account Executive – Brands, while still getting your hands dirty closing priority deals.
  • You’ll operate in a massive greenfield – new cities, new campuses, new verticals.
  • You’ll sell a product that gives brands direct, measurable access to students at the moment they choose where to live.
  • You’ll have real ownership: the partnerships you build directly impact Housr’s growth, retention, and platform value.

What you’ll do

  • Own the Brand Partnerships Strategy – Design and continuously refine Housr’s approach to acquiring national and local brand partners as we expand into new university markets.
  • Hit Brand Partner Targets – You are accountable for ensuring each new campus launches with a strong, compelling set of brand and perk partners that meet defined targets.
  • Build & Lead the Brand Partnerships Team – Manage and support an Account Executive who executes the day‑to‑day sales motion, while providing coaching, structure, and clear priorities.
  • Close High‑Impact Deals – Lead key national partnerships and priority local deals yourself, especially in early markets or strategic verticals.
  • Build Scalable Processes – Develop the brand partnerships playbook – including segmentation, pricing strategy, pitch materials, onboarding workflows, and success metrics.
  • Launch New University Markets – Work closely with GTM, marketing, properties, and customer success teams to ensure brand partnerships are live, valuable, and visible at launch.
  • Be the Face of Housr to Brands – Build long‑term relationships with brand partners, attend industry and local events, and represent Housr as a category‑defining platform.
  • Iterate, Learn, Improve – Use data and feedback from partners and campuses to continuously improve conversion rates, partner performance, and marketplace quality.

What we’re looking for

  • You’ve built or led brand, partnership, or SMB/mid‑market sales motions in the US or Canada.
  • You have experience selling to local businesses, regional chains, franchises, or national consumer brands.
  • You’re motivated by ownership, accountability, and building something from the ground up.
  • You’ve worked in a high‑growth startup or fast‑moving GTM environment.
  • You’re comfortable moving between strategy and execution – from designing process to closing deals.
  • You’ve managed or mentored sales talent, or you’re ready to take that next leadership step.
  • You’re an exceptional communicator who can pitch founders, operators, and marketing leaders with confidence.
