QLM Search is partnering a specialist ingredients group that is looking to appoint a Sales Director. Reporting to the Business Unit VP sales (AND CEO) and forming part of a global sales leadership team, the role will be instrumental in delivering their 5 year commercial strategy in this specialist Food Ingredients division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective Ingredient category management strategies to drive sales and profit growth for the business.
  • Analyse market trends, customer insights and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to maximize sales potential.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to ensure the business is meeting their needs and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments (internationally) to ensure alignment and collaboration across the business.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns and product launches.

Candidates MUST have proven experience as a Sales leader/Director within the B2B Food Ingredients (Food/Bakery/Meat an advantage). This is an individual contributor position with no team management so you will need excellent knowledge of the Europe wide food market, have strong communication skills, with the ability to navigate product sales in this niche category). You need strong knowledge of category management strategies across Ingredients with a track record of driving growth through effective implementation.
