Director of Sales – Global Channel & Capital Equipment Sales

We’re hiring a Director of Sales to lead and expand global sales channels for capital equipment and turnkey food processing systems. This role is for a hunter-minded, hands-on sales leader with a passion for driving new market development, managing international agents/distributors, and building a high-performing internal team.

If you have experience leading global sales teams in capital equipment or food/agriculture processing markets, and enjoy the challenges of complex international sales, this is a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on a growing organization with a global footprint.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and develop global agent/distributor sales channels , including onboarding, training, and performance management
  • Drive new market development and new customer acquisition across underpenetrated regions globally
  • Oversee and build a domestic inside sales and support team (2-5 employees)
  • Manage the full sales cycle for large capital equipment and turnkey systems
  • Partner closely with executive leadership, engineering, and operations to align customer needs with company capabilities
  • Own P&L responsibility for global sales , working toward structured bonus and commission plans tied to profitability and sales growth
  • Regularly travel (~40%) to customer sites, agent offices, and industry events globally
  • Lead from the front in a lean, entrepreneurial environment where rolling up your sleeves is part of the culture

What You Bring

  • 7+ years experience in global capital equipment sales, agent/distributor management, and international sales leadership
  • Proven success in developing and growing international sales channels
  • Industry experience in food processing, agriculture equipment, or capital goods preferred
  • Track record of success in hunter-style sales roles and driving new business
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills , both domestically and internationally
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to sales management and performance tracking
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Agriculture, or related field
  • Comfortable working with long sales cycles and complex global negotiations
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Total Comp up to $175K , with bonus/commission structure under development
  • 401K with 4% match
  • Travel expenses covered
