About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Power Sales Representative to drive growth in the energy infrastructure market. This position focuses on developing and closing opportunities for engineered power solutions serving oil & gas, midstream facilities, remote grid applications, and hybrid power systems supporting data centers and industrial operations.This role involves selling integrated infrastructure solutions — not commodity equipment — including natural gas-fired generation, modular power stations, hybrid grid systems, and EPC-delivered facility packages.
Expectations and Job Summary
The Power Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth within the energy infrastructure market by developing and closing opportunities for engineered power solutions. This role focuses on integrated infrastructure sales supporting oil & gas, midstream facilities, remote grid applications, data centers, and industrial operations. The position involves selling comprehensive solutions — not commodity equipment — including natural gas-fired generation, modular power stations, hybrid grid systems, and EPC-delivered facility packages.
The successful candidate will proactively identify and close new business opportunities while building strategic relationships across the energy sector. This role requires leading technical and commercial discussions, collaborating cross-functionally with engineering and project management teams, and maintaining strong awareness of market trends and regulatory developments.
The Director of Power Sales is expected to:
- Drive new revenue growth by identifying and closing engineered power infrastructure opportunities within oil & gas, midstream, distributed generation, and industrial markets.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with operators, developers, EPC contractors, and engineering partners to position the company as a preferred power solutions provider.
- Lead technical and commercial sales efforts, including capacity planning, redundancy strategies, fuel solutions, and grid interconnection discussions.
- Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, CRM reporting, and visibility into revenue projections.
- Support contract negotiations and ensure seamless transition of awarded projects to engineering and project execution teams.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in O&G, midstream, and distributed generation markets
- Build strategic relationships with operators, developers, EPC contractors, and engineering firms
- Lead technical and commercial discussions related to power capacity, redundancy, fuel strategies, and grid interconnection
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to develop scopes, budgets, and proposals
- Manage sales pipeline, forecasting, and CRM reporting
- Support contract negotiation and transition to project execution teams
- Maintain strong market awareness of regulatory, technical, and competitive trends

Qualifications and Core Competencies
The ideal candidate will possess the following competencies:
- 5–15+ years of experience in power generation or energy infrastructure sales
- Demonstrated success selling oil & gas, midstream, and/or data center clients
- Strong understanding of natural gas engines, turbines, or hybrid generation systems
- Experience with engineered packages or EPC project sales preferred
- Ability to manage long-cycle, technical sales processes
- Strong commercial and contract negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel as required
