As a Director of Sales for Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI), your charter will be to lead new customer growth within our largest vertical practice. We are looking for someone with at least 8 years of experience in data analytics, cloud, and/or AI/ML consulting, and a consistent track record of growing their business portfolio.

- Consulting Experience: The candidate must have experience selling complex consulting projects. Experience as a presales solution consultant who would like to transition into sales or a client partner for global or boutique consulting firms would be a good fit for this role.
- Domain Expertise: The candidate must have a strong understanding of the data warehousing, ETL, analytics, cloud, and AI/ML ecosystem.
- Industry Experience: The candidate must have a strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL, analytics, cloud, and AI/ML needs within BFSI, and experience selling into enterprise Banking, Financial, and Insurance companies is required.
- Value-based Hunter: The focus of this role is to grow the BFSI customer base by understanding the core of Customer-centric value creation, making long-term vs. short-term decisions, and navigating complex environments. Having a strong business development regimen is necessary for success.
- Proximity & Adaptability: Willingness to be geographically close to key prospects or customer decision-makers, be able to walk customer hallways, and be available when they think of us.

Strategic Account Leadership
- Develop, implement, and execute strategic account, prospecting, and opportunity plans that win new customers.
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all matters related to assigned customers, serving as a trusted advisor.
Relationship Management
- Leverage executive-level relationships to strengthen or build the company’s presence and strategically utilize team resources for impactful client engagement.
Solution Development & Delivery
- Support and facilitate delivery teams to ensure success and satisfaction.
- Work closely with client teams, pre-sales engineering, and delivery teams to build winning sales proposals and establish strong client relationships.
Business Development
- Own and execute account-based prospecting plans.
- Create, leverage, and manage account-based marketing plans for organic growth and brand visibility.
- Leverage the ecosystem of cloud and cloud data services partners to find new opportunities for growth. Partners are key for developing opportunities, and they need to be convinced of Impetus’s ability to help them drive revenue for their clients. The ability to develop trusted relationships with Partners is a must.
- Present the overall Impetus story, comprising capabilities, offerings, and solutions.
- Represent the customer\'s needs and interests within Impetus.
- Foster a positive team culture by building enthusiasm, collaboration, and support within and outside the organization.
