What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to ongoing utilization for enterprise prospects
- Organize proof-of-concept implementations of dbt Cloud Enterprise
- Acquire 20 new dbt Cloud Enterprise customers per year (after ramp-up period)
- Lead and contribute to team projects that enhance the sales process
- Collaborate with product teams to build and maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Minimum of 5 years of closing experience in technology sales, with a proven track record of exceeding annual targets
- Strong ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into consultative sales
- Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Strong organizational skills to manage long, intricate sales cycles involving multiple client teams
- Ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous and fast-paced work environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Prior experience in analytics, ETL, BI, and/or open-source software
- Knowledge of or prior experience with dbt
- Experience with SQL or willingness to learn
