Tax Consultant-CPA - Hiring Immediately

Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is seeking a skilled Tax Consultant to join their team in California. This is an initial 3-4 week consulting position with potential for temporary-to-hire based on performance and client needs. The ideal candidate will possess a CPA and be capable of assisting with past and current year tax preparations and submissions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and submitting past year's taxes as well as current year taxes.
• Provide expert tax consulting services to clients.
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial data and documents.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Advise clients on tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities.

Qualifications

• CPA certification is required.
• Proven experience in tax preparation and consulting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy in work.

Work Hours

Monday through Friday, during standard business hours.

Additional Details

Compensation ranges from $75 to $90+ per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
