Vice President of Operations – Affordable Housing

West Los Angeles, CA | Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 remote)

Our client, a leading affordable housing organization in West LA , is seeking a Vice President of Operations to partner with the CEO and lead the systems, processes, and culture that power the organization’s growth and impact.

This is a strategic, hands‑on leadership role for a proven operator who understands real estate transactions, compliance, and multi‑stakeholder coordination . The ideal candidate brings structure, accountability, and a people‑first approach to scaling mission‑driven operations.

What You’ll Do

• Streamline workflows and optimize operational systems for efficiency and clarity
• Develop SOPs, playbooks, and documentation that standardize excellence
• Strengthen tools and data practices across Smartsheet, Monday.com, Box, and CRM platforms
• Lead operational reviews, performance dashboards, and accountability processes
• Build a collaborative, high‑performing team culture rooted in trust and results
• Partner with compliance and finance teams to ensure accuracy and audit readiness
• Design scalable systems that reduce risk and support long‑term growth

What You Bring

• 8–12+ years in operations, real estate, or housing-related roles (affordable housing strongly preferred )
• Deep understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks
• Proven success implementing systems in transaction‑heavy environments
• Skilled in Smartsheet, Monday.com, and other workflow platforms
• Excellent communicator and strategic leader with a solution‑oriented mindset
