VP Enterprise Risk Management

JCW is partnering with a community bank seeking a Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management to oversee and strengthen its enterprise-wide risk framework. This role partners closely with senior leadership to identify, assess, and mitigate risk across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement enterprise-wide risk management strategies, policies, and procedures
- Monitor and assess risk exposure across business units
- Oversee risk related to fintech partnerships, third-party vendors, and Bank-as-a-Service activities
- Conduct enterprise risk assessments and implement mitigation plans
- Develop and maintain the bank’s risk appetite framework and prepare reporting for senior management and the Board
- Serve as a key point of contact for regulators and auditors on enterprise risk matters
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in risk management within financial services
- Strong knowledge of consumer lending compliance, BSA/AML, safety & soundness, and operational risk
- Experience developing risk frameworks, risk assessments, and board-level reporting
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
