- Revenue Policy & Compliance: Develop and maintain revenue recognition policies (ASC 606), ensuring accurate recording of deferred revenue & commissions
- Contract Analysis: Collaborate with Sales and Legal to review deal structures, advising on the revenue impact of terms and providing technical accounting memos.
- Reporting & Close: Oversee the annual revenue close, including reconciliations and reporting of revenue-related metrics.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with FP&A for revenue forecasting, and collaborate with Internal Audit/SOX teams to maintain robust internal controls.
- Ensure 100% compliance with accounting standards & reducing audit risk.
- Improve accuracy in revenue forecasting & closing cycles.
- Optimize revenue streams through sound technical accounting advice
