Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

FP&A Director | High-Growth, PE-Backed Manufacturing | South Austin Area (On-Site)

We are partnering with a rapidly growing, private equity-backed manufacturing company seeking an FP&A Director to build and lead a forward-looking finance function during a transformational growth phase.

This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the CFO and serving as a key finance “lieutenant” within the organization. The right candidate will not only own forecasting and analytics but will help professionalize processes, drive accountability, and partner closely with operations to support strategic growth initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning
• Build scalable reporting infrastructure leveraging SAP and analytics tools
• Partner cross-functionally with operations to identify performance drivers and pain points
• Translate financial data into actionable insights for executive leadership
• Support capital strategy, banking relationships, and potential future investor/IPO readiness initiatives
• Help elevate systems-based reporting over manual Excel-heavy processes

What We’re Looking For:

• 10+ years of progressive FP&A experience
• Strong systems mindset (SAP experience highly preferred; SAP Analytics Cloud a plus)
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience in private equity-backed or high-growth environments a plus
• Exposure to capital markets, investor relations, or banking relationships beneficialIndependent thinker who can set priorities, drive performance, and operate with minimal structure
• Energetic, direct, and comfortable in a hands‑on, evolving environment
