Overview
A dynamic and growing lower middle market private equity firm headquartered in Atlanta is seeking a highly motivated Associate to join its investment team. The firm takes a generalist approach, investing across a diverse range of industries and focusing on control-oriented transactions in companies with strong growth potential.
Base pay range
$130,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, due diligence, financial modeling, deal execution, and portfolio management.
- Conduct industry research and competitive analysis to identify attractive investment opportunities.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate potential investments and support decision-making.
- Participate in meetings with management teams, advisors, and other stakeholders throughout the investment lifecycle.
- Assist in the preparation of investment committee materials and presentations.
- Monitor portfolio company performance and support value creation initiatives post-close.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or a similar analytical role; prior private equity experience is a plus.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus but not required.
