This is a high-impact leadership opportunity with a smaller, well-established, growth-oriented manufacturing organization seeking a hands‑on Director of Finance to serve as the top finance leader and a key business partner to the President and executive team.

This role offers true ownership of the finance function — financial planning, operational performance, and team development. You’ll have a seat at the leadership table, influencing company direction, driving profitability, and building scalable processes that support continued growth.

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the President and Leadership Team on performance, profitability, and growth initiatives
  • Own the budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes
  • Deliver timely financial reporting, dashboards, and insights to support decision-making
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and overall financial health of the business
  • Establish and monitor KPIs across departments to drive accountability and results
  • Partner closely with operations and product leaders to analyze margins, pricing, and cost structure
  • Implement process improvements, systems enhancements, and reporting automation
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audits, and accounting best practices
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high‑performing finance team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and business partnerships
  • Manufacturing or product‑based industry experience strongly preferred (not required)
  • Proven background in FP&A, budgeting, cash flow management, and operational finance
  • Experience working with ERP systems and strong Excel skills
  • Hands‑on, collaborative leadership style with strong communication and business acumen
