Responsibilities

  • Drive capital-raising efforts by leveraging your established institutional investor relationships and network connections across regions and verticals, bringing valuable relationships to expand Thalēs' reach for its fund partners.
  • Build, maintain, and expand relationships with institutional investors, including endowments, foundations, family offices, pensions, consultants, and fund-of-funds.
  • Actively identify and source new alternative investment managers to join the Thalēs client roster and subject to Thalēs’ stringent selection process
  • Partner with Thalēs' internal team to ensure seamless execution of fundraising strategies.
  • Cultivate long‑term relationships with new and existing clients, contributing to their success and aligning with their growth objectives.
  • Participate in event planning, virtual conferences, and bespoke investor engagements.
  • Provide clients with actionable market insights and collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging and impactful research content.

Requirements

  • Experience: 6+ years in capital raising, hedge fund, or alternative investment industries.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Licenses: FINRA Series 7, 63
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Suite; familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM tools, Notion; Proficiency with AI tools (Open AI, Claude, Notebook LM, App‑built AI tools).
  • Expertise: Extensive institutional investor network and knowledge of alternative public and private market strategies.
  • Must‑Have: >50 shared connections with the hiring manager, David Modiano.

  • Salary range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, years of applicable experience, skills, qualifications, licensure and certifications, and other business and organization needs. The current estimated base salary range for this role is $125,000 – $175,000 per year. No cap on total compensation (formula‑based profit sharing).

  • This role involves some business travel and requires residency in New York. The expected start date is Q4 2025.
