Finance Director- Part Time–Newington, NH seeks to hire a Part-time Finance Director (24 to 30 hours/week). Financial oversight includes all Town accounting and payroll functions. Data entry of payroll biweekly.

Responsibilities

Financial oversight includes all Town accounting and payroll functions. Data entry of payroll biweekly.

Qualifications

  • Degree in accounting or related field with 5 years of related experience or combination of New Hampshire municipal finance experience and education.
  • Strong general ledger skills, familiarity with Dept of Labor Laws, including FLSA.
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize Payroll, Fund and Accounts Payable software (MTS), MS Word and Excel required.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Payroll and experience with NHRS a plus.

Salary: DOQ- $35-$46 per hour.
