Head of Technical Strategy

Arcus are exclusively supporting a major Investment brand who are hiring a Head of Technical Strategy to their rapidly growing business. This is a uniquely positioned role and will suit someone with a strong Technical/ Engineering and Project Management background that can also operate at C‑Suite.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting the build of a brand new business unit who are backed by one of the most successful companies globally
• Understand and implement technology programs to build four new service functions
• Working with exec leaders internally to drive strategy and programmes forward
• Manage executive relationships and ensure the vision of the leadership team is carried through the organisation
• Supporting engineers and technical PM's with document handling, designing technical documents and maintenance of these documents

What you'll bring:

• 10-15 years experience in an Engineering support role
• Prior experience supporting cutting‑edge technology environments (E.G. AI/ ML, DataCenter Builds)
• Excellent organisational skills, both mentally and digitally
• Ability to work in both Waterfall and Agile environments with exposure to Lean Six Sigma

This is a very different role to a traditional Head of Technical Strategy, you will almost act as a Chief of Staff.
