As a US-based local Video Editor, you will be responsible for concepting, developing, and execution of integrated cross platform creatives and assets for BIGO’s product suite to deliver impactful work that drives business and marketing results across various media platforms. In your role, you’ll be working at the intersection of creativity, technology, and advertising by leveraging your graphic and video design skill sets.
You will work in collaboration with the local marketing team and HQ media buying teams to create integrated designs which help elevate the creative for our mobile products.
Responsibilities Concept, initiate and innovate new creatives focusing on core communities, seasonal events, market trends etc. and refine story ideas and scripts for new creative projects
Design and deliver compelling graphics and videos for the different media platforms and app stores that are appealing for our app and social media audiences
Rich graphic and video design experiences with different digital media platforms, tailor our creatives to their platform characteristics, continuously optimize the material based on feedback and data analysis
Organize local elements, manage the assets library and brand guidelines to ensure an efficient workflow
Active collaboration with cross-functional team for creatives and marketing events to design different subjects and styles of graphic/video materials
Able to meet design requirements with high quality and high efficiency
Proactively identify hosts and creators to create original content production
Create and manage creative calendar and project roadmap including schedules, budget, and resource allocation
Manage creative vendors and oversee the video editing stage, review and provide feedback to creatives to ensure the final product adheres to the creative vision (for external projects)
Ensure content meets Bigo Live brand guidelines and platform-specific requirements
Qualifications Bachelor's degree or above in media, creatives or related fields
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, AfterEffects, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, C4D mastery would be a plus
Extensive work experience in video production and creatives space, tech company preferred
Strong aesthetic sense, creativity and able to think outside the box
Strong communication skills, full understanding of product requirements and usage scenarios
High creative sensitivity, has a deep understanding of localization style, can quickly catch the selling point of market trends
Must be proactive, fast-thinking, self-starter who can own and lead initiatives
Attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects concurrently
