- Order Management: Process and track customer orders, ensuring timely fulfillment and adherence to client requirements;
- Freight Rate Acquisition: Obtain and negotiate freight rates with carriers, optimizing cost and delivery schedules;
- Railcar Notice & Waybilling: Prepare notices and waybills for railcar shipments, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards;
- Railcar Turn Management: Monitor railcar cycles, track movements, and coordinate with logistics partners to minimize idle time and maximize efficiency;
- Accounts Payable & Receivable Monitoring: Oversee payment processing, reconcile invoices, and ensure timely collections from clients while managing payments to vendors;
- Scrap Procurement & Sales (as needed): Assist in sourcing scrap metal from suppliers and executing sales agreements with buyers, maintaining strong relationships, and negotiating favorable terms.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant industry software.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Shows initiative and meets goals consistently.
- Must have a professional attitude and be dependable.
